Airline Approved Pet Carrier?
I'm looking to travel with a small dog on a plane next June. I'm looking at buying for soft kennel for my Bichon Frise can travel in the cabin with me. Does anyone know a good buy soft kennel would not be larger than the height Soft-sided: 27 cm (10.5 inches) Width: 40 cm (15.5 inches) Length: 55 cm (21.5 inches) and weigh no more than 10 kg (22 lb) (pets and company combined) I've looked into the party line, but I'd hate to buy something to show my flight and know that we can not go because we have the right carrier. I fly several times a year with my dog (a toy fox terrier 5 pounds) for advice I can give you firsthand. regardless of what airlines fly - And have been to several with my dog - that do not check your documents or your company. quite true. I was so worried the first time I traveled with my dog made me absolutely everything perfect only to find that no one checked or cared what I was carrying (and still never check). they only care about the companies ranging in load. anyway, I would suggest a soft-sided carrier for your pet, the most expensive I have are for Kwigy-Bo, and Celltei (my favorite dog) Teafco ARGO /. the cheapest I've tried it and Bergan Sherpa - both found in pet stores. Look at all these online, they are all soft and can fit easily under the seat and be crushed a little. I do not know the size of your pet is, but his company will not qualify if it is over 12 "tall and 17" long. if you can go under the two dimensions that are good. you can find a great career from 25 to 45 dollars and the only real requirement is necessary to comply that is well ventilated (at least 3 mesh windows). the ventilation is very important because after a while the dog gets a little overheated and trousers so make sure the fabric is light company (not leather for example) and has a lot of window screens.
