Some questions of the mouse?
Hello. I'm thinking of getting the mice before and am trying to do a little research first. I will be using 10 gallon set in a mesh. I'm also going to all women in order not to overfill. Here are the questions. 1. What should I feed them? I know there is nothing in my local Wal-Mart, but maybe some food mixtures in the pet store. 2. How many mice is set to a 10 gallon aquarium? I'v heard from 3 to 10. What do you recommend? 3. Should I use crittercare or poplar? If not, what do you suggest? (Bug attention http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10321154) 4. What are some websites of good care and some tips that you know to keep the mice? Thanks. One more thing what is the easiest way cleaning up a habitat of 10 mice gallon?
1. You can feed them mixed mouse / rat diet, or you can eat hamster food very good. My mice reality as best hamster food, and helped keep a healthy weight. I can use material from Walmart: Wild Harvest Hamster and Gerbil Food You can also mix your own food, information on which http://www.fancymice.info/feedingfrontpage.htm 2. I would say that four is a good number. Thus, not overcrowding, which will have room for toys and wheels and nests, and you still have a couple of mice. 3. Bed-clothes are good, but seems crittercare do not let the smell down a little better. You could also use Carefresh, but Crittercare is basically a chain reaction of the same version, and much cheaper. 4. http://www.fancymice.info almost lived on this site before and after I have my mice. 5. The easiest way would be to remove all toys (And have mice or balls or a separate waiting area), dump the bedding in a bag, and wipe with a papertowel which is moistened with water or soap, or you could get some clean cages Walmart. I use the cleaner of the cage (do not know the name, the label caught-_-) in a white bottle. Your pet insurance and it really helps get pee and poop outside the cages and toys.
