How often should I feed my dogs?
I have 3 dogs. A dachshund 5 years old, 7 year old dachshund and chihuahua mix a year 15 of age. Honey, the Chihuahua is strictly canned food because of lack of teeth and evil. How often should I feed them? According to their weights: Heidi and Lexi (dog sausage and mix) both weigh 14 and the power of the online calculator I found on Innova website said they should be receiving power 7 cups. If this is not one or two times a day? And Honey, based in weight of 11, should be getting 5.5 oz of canned food. Again, if a or twice a day? Moreover, in the next couple of months, will be getting a Australian shepherd puppy, around 9 weeks old, what would you say which is the typical weight of a puppy that age? I guess about 5 pounds, does this sound right? Thanks!
I can give mine twice a day. That amount a daily basis and not food so just divide in half. You may have to adjust some depending on the amount of exercise they do. If you notice your weight going up or down only you must add or subtract a little. Innova is the best food out there so good job on keeping healthy. An Australian shepherd around 9 weeks, probably would be about 8 lbs.
