4 Month Old Puppy - a walk? How far? Please help!?
I just adopted a 4 month old German Shepherd / Labrador Retriever mix Humane Society. I would start taking a walk every evening, but would like to know how far we can walk without hurting legs? Is it an excess mileage for a puppy so small? Of course, we will have water for her and I am thinking of getting some dog booties to protect your feet. Any other suggestions? He was also neutered 3 days ago. The Humane Society said it can walk and do everything but to keep it out of the water, this is and it will be a walk is a bad thing? Thanks in advance for your help!
Just watch their body language and if she is still fun and she'll be fine. My guy will head back to the car when he wants to leave the walk. Sometimes you can stay and play for an hour and sometimes leave in 20 minutes. I only it decides.
