Groomers Help! Clippers and Blades?
I've been looking to get a razor so I can clip my mouth Portuguese water dogs. The Water Dog Portuguese book says to use a blade # 10, but I do not know what this means and I can not see reference to this in the specifications clipper. Could someone explain about blades and combs because I am so not getting it! I have little to spend for what I have been watching the Clippers Wahl ranging from £ 25 - £ 50 and I can not really tell any difference between them. Also, do not know if I get wireless or not. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hello I am a groomer Experienced dog so hopefully I can answer some of your questions! First let a blade of 10 at 1.6 mm when used properly with the pressure correct. This may sound very dramatic but because of the breed of dog that you can make fun of this because of the thickness of his coat so it does not irregular and you will not be able to see the skin. Overall, 10 leaves are used in most dogs that have the cut face either in whole or in places such as poodles, schnauzers etc!
