How do I use a dog crate to pee outside?
I heard there are ways to use the potty training dog crate. EX. leave it there and look for any unusual behavior and make it go outdoors on a leash or something (do not know if this is right up ^ ^) So how I can use a dog crate to potty train it?
Being in the box does not teach your puppy to pee outside, taking the puppy outside and rewarding when it pees outside. Crate training only helps in this process by encouraging the dog hold the bladder. Dogs instinctively like to "den" like small closed in a place to sleep and call their own, so a box is like a dog. Once your dog is properly introduced to the cage, and trained for the mind not closed the door, not going to want to pee there, because it is his bed. Who likes to sleep in pee? Then the dog will want to hold it in your bladder until you can be outside to pee. BUT, the puppies are physically unable to hold their bladders that long. Puppy can be in it in the drawer until the number of months that have age (at two months that a puppy needs to be let out every 2 hours). So again, using the crate training method takes consistency on your part, letting the puppy out very often so you can be out and learn that is where you pee. Puppies need to be left out after drinking as soon as he wakes up, after eating and after a session of good play. Moreover, only once every couple of hours or so when very young. If you leave your puppy in the crate too long, will not want to pee on her bed will have no choice but to do it, it really slows down the process of formation. Good Luck!
