Dog Crates and cages
Boxes and crates.?
Why are so many here refer constantly to the cage training your dog (s)? And why are so defensive about it. I participated in a question the other night where I was going to "shoot a dog before I would put in a drawer" and the response others disagreed with such force that informed me that I excluded. Does anyone agree that a caged animal is wrong and totally denies fundamentaly owner relationship or pet? And if you do not agree with much pleasure to hear their arguments.
I do not cage my dogs, train boxes. I own and train dogs German Shepherd. Some foods in the cage and have the runof the garden, but I always return to the box's existence. My dogs have grown up around children and children been taught that when the dog is in the cage to be let alone, play with the dogs if they are out, but if the dogs have enough to go to no box. A dog needs its own place in the case of a bed or a box, I prefer to use a crate.
