How do people get their dogs to use these dog gates waved? One who loves, the other is afraid of it.
Recently we have set a dog double door entry to shake our 2 dogs. One likes, the smallest seems intimidated by her. The only way it is when I use foot on it, the point and get a stern voice say. Any suggestions? We tried food anywhere ... we have dealt with a single fin at a time. A dog does not have problems going in and out ... and the other seems very afraid of him. I am looking for suggestions, so do not have to constantly go out to convince the young to go through the door.
I have one and my two dogs love! so do it! no more getting up in the middle of the night, because my pastor is inside too hot! our mixture was like her little dog, scared. finially got him more than this for the "bribe" method! a lot of cookies, and lover when she went through it! i know should not give out much candy, but this really helped. with the door open and close the doggie door, open it with the hand that has your favorite sweet it. as it nears the treatment, pulling his hand back a little at a time until it is right at the door, then we hope that through! that so she can see you and treat. if you get her to go through a step after treatment, do the other way! then try to close the door and put the door.soon hand into the dog you have the idea. it takes time and patience. pulling it through only to scare her more. if she sees that more is achieved by come and go, she will be willing to spend. may have to do this for a few days once the stars come and go by herself. gradually be waived trafficking and just giving praise. do not give up and not get upset and start screaming, because we all have a tendency to do:) good luck!
