Doggy Door Patio Door - Securtiy bar help?
I checked Home Depot and Lowes. I tried searching the Internet for it. I hope someone knows here. I am a dog door installed in my career sliding patio door. Below is an example of the one I bought. I have a safety bar sliding glass door. The problem is that I need one about 25 inches high. I can not find one that size. The shorter bar I've seen is 28 inches. Any suggestions? I think you want say through the dog door is not? If so, you can use any type of broom handle cut to size to keep the door open ... Also slipping can get a metal bar cutting and place in bottom ... have hole drilled in a ring or something is inserted through so that you can pull it easily. The only thing is that you have to do it from within, but just do not work the same close and custom "to be as easy to use as an establishing for the door.
