Hot spots in dogs
Some dogs hot spots are the dog park, the beach, or the local pet shop. However, the dog spots are also a common approach, however, very painful condition that many dogs suffer from each year. In essence, a hotspot is a sore area in the dog's body that runs from the size of a quarter in the palm of the hand. The skin is infected, resulting any number of causes, and then exacerbated as the dog continues to lick and scratch the problem area. A veterinarian is clean and dry the ground, then potentially prescribe an antibiotic or cream. In all cases, it is important to keep the dog continue to lick the area irritant. Elizabethan collars are a good way to prevent continuous licking and scratching. Shaving distance of a patch of matted hair will help prevent a skin disease that can be otherwise impossible to see.
