Learn to train a dog agility?

I am looking for resources (preferably web based, but the books are good too) on the information on how to train a Dog Agility Courses and how to build agility obstacles myself. I took my dog (a Pembroke Corgi) at an agility course once before and she loved it to no end. It was a great exercise for her and a lot of fun for me too. I would do it more often, however, beyond finding an agility course that I can carry regular, I educate myself more about how to train a dog in an agility course. Thus, I can be as sure as I'm training to his right. I do not think having jurisdiction, so even if he never learns the hard rocker or other equipment, yet would be happy. It would also be good to know how to build the proper course team, as until now I have not been able to find a course near us. Thank you very much for any help they can offer.

You have it backwards. Go to an agility course, take the first 6-8 sessions. You learn a lot. Even if you never take another course, you will know enough not to scare your dog away from agility. You see, the main problems at first with the agility training for beginners are with the human side team, not the dog. So learn about earthworks, front crosses, rear crosses, the establishment of a line, the manipulation remote clicker training (which is very valuable for agility), identifying the value of the level of trafficking, the establishment of the unit and focus with your dog. In addition, there are plenty of websites and blogs around agility. But I can not think of one for beginners. All are an experience base with agility. The website run Clean has a large bookstore, but you will not find anything on the site (other than books or movies for purchase) that will help. Probably the best website agility around the website agilitynerd.com Steve Schwarz, but even that is not for beginners. As for books, there are 3 books in good introduction to agility. These documents are available from the Clean Run website or Dogpatch. The authors are: Laurie Leach, Barbara Bauman and Margaret Bonham. All are good introductions, one of the 3 would give a good start. That said, trying to learn agility of a book is like trying to learn martial arts or how to dance in a book. As for the construction equipment, first all organizations have greater flexibility in your website specs for the computer (ie, how high and wide of the A-frame is, etc..) The best book around in the construction of the equipment is Jim Hutchins: Do it yourself agility equipment (I used to do my A-frame). That said, do yourself a favor and buy "Agility in a bag" Agility affordable. For around $ 150, you get 2 jumps adjustable pause box worthless, a decent manga, a tire, and 6 PVC fabrics. You can use the examples for other tissues or 6 jumps more. You sound very set in it yourself first and then take a course. Seriously, take the first course. There are a lot of people I know who train by itself, or take courses and compete ever. However, beginners make a zillion mistakes that discourage your dog make the sport. Start with the right foot - take a class from a reputable instructor. You will not regret. And then do it yourself. To compete or not compete, that's their decision. But training is not really for the dog (because as you discovered, it is natural for most dogs), training is for humans so our dogs do not drive away from the sport.
