Do you leave your dog inside when you're gone? What I can do for my dog bored?
I have a puppy from a puppy still believe-9 months of age. She is a chihuahua / cocker spaniel mix we think. I am a teacher and I'm gone for about 4.5 hours, return home for a long lunch because of my preparation, and I've gone back about 2 hours. I have a large pen (two pens exercise together) for her to be like her crate and toys. No matter what I'm toys for it does not play with them. She loves rawhide, but only eat them in the presence of a person. Other than that, she just sits in its box waiting. I thought about leaving your stay in the house while I'm gone, but knowing that she had poop and pee everywhere fear or boredom, or chew it. Yes, it is completely diapers, but still a fear? If your dog stays inside all day, how are trained not to enter anything? Besides, what I can do with toys for her? She likes it in the Kong, but do not touch it if I can not see it.
In my house we have a dog door leading to backyard, so when we we would just leave the door open for dog. usually shut the bedroom doors so that you can not go and play with anything, what his business outside and sleeps inside. We give him a chicken neck or an ear pigs to provide some variation. My dog loves them both and she is a toy poodle so that both take a while to buy them both Woolworth's. We also keep his water bowel and intestine in Food by the door of your dog in the shade, and his bed inside and outside a cage with a couple of his favorite toys in it. Hope this helps. Good luck. =)
