any information about dragons of water known as water dogs, mud puppies alias?

hello all, my husband brought home 2 dogs water yesterday and we plan on housing in a 55 gallon tank to be filled with large stones and half with water, as they are air breathers. I have information on the web reportedly found that eating worms, and feeder fish larvea, and bite but I still I can not figure out why it is to find out if you touch a bite or not. grow up to 1 foot and live 30 years. Does anyone have any experience with these things? any words of wisdom on housing or care for them?

the problem common names as "water dogs" can be difficult to know exactly what you're talking animal. i think you may be referring to axolotls however, I'm right? aquatic salamanders so often referred to as Mexican walking fish. have a read through this site: http://www.axolotl.org is or less the bible axolotl.
