What dog is right for me?

I asked this question already but did not get very good answers I live in Denver Colorado which is pretty cold times and I'm really looking into getting a dog that I have a bike shop 6 days a week to work on selling my bike I think is a couple of miles in each direction and I want the dog to run beside me on a leash and then hang out at my store for the rest of the day traveling home say the dog has to be Tolerance of strangers, chilren (Some clients are children who have none of mine), and cold I want the dog to shed as little as possible but do not want the boyfriend much I love the dog either medium or large home is small with a small yard I do not want a female dog I want a quiet dog who likes other animals and hopefully a healthy if I have to add more information please let me know.

I would like to see a Portuguese water dog. They are a little higher than a Golden Retriever and thinner. Their hair is hypoallergenic skin rather than to not shed. His hair is curly and does not have constant preparation. And they love to exercise. My cousin one lives in Vermont and take your dog to climb mountains at all times. Your dog is very friendly and is great with children. It may depend on each dog, although they do not touch me at that. Hope this helps (:
