Choose a prep school?

I am researching in preparation for attending school to "learn the basics." So far, I have two on the list. In Connecticut, the state currently living with my parents. That prep school is the School of Dog Grooming in Connecticut (Http://www.learn2groom.com/index1.php) The other is in one of my ideal places to live, Georgia. Born and raised in South Florida, so the winters here I are killing. My plan is to spend time in the south once they have started my training. The school in Georgia is the International Academy of Pet Design (http://www.thegroomingschool.com/). Does anyone have an opinion on any of these schools, any suggestions for another school, or I'm leaving this on the wrong track? Honesty is greatly appreciated. Yahoo Grrr. Here is my way to think about it. I have worked with hair that went to a prep school, and hairdressers learned through an apprenticeship. Frankly, I would try find a barber who was willing to teach. I have not been impressed with many of the hairdressers I've seen of the "schools." I have a friend who was looking at the same school of hygiene in CT - some of the locals who spoke were not impressed with the school. You can find a hairdresser who was willing to hire you as a swimmer, and allow you to learn the ropes there. I think that getting an education more realistic that way, and the experience with more races. Good luck. The preparation is hard work!
