Why don't you ever see police cats?

Cats are undoubtedly built better for search and rescue missions. They can jump over rubble, more nimble and I've heard cats meow just as loud as some dogs bark! They also have a highly developed sense of smell. That would make them ideal for drug identifiers.
Hey Peanut- I didn't say we should get rid of our K-9 units! I'm just posing a question; sheesh!

btw: I'm loving these answers!
We definately need our K-9 units to bring down perpetrators. I am in no way trying to demean our K-9 officers. Relax! People!

Dogs of certain breeds are much more suited for this type of work, do to their ability to be trained. Cats on the other hand, are vindictive little jerks who only care to do things their way. In my opinion, cats are utterly useless!
