Dog Obedience - 1 Reason You dog does not get to call
If you have problems with "Come here," here is a possible reason why your dog can not come when you call. This is a common mistake that many owners do not realize it.
This error is that if you use the "come", both positive and negative situations. It causes the dog to be confused and sometimes put it in tha back of the head that the word means they are in trouble.
You may think your dog is stupid because it does not come when called - but can be very smart! He can only be confused as to what the command means reality. Remember that only knows "dog language" and you have to show yours!
I'm going to give you an example using a story:
Just reach their new dog "Duke", and one begins training immediately. Do you think you h ave successfully trained him basic commands and are very proud you and Duke.
The next day, see Duke of chewing on your new pair of shoes and say, "Duque, come here!" As comes to you, scolded him to ruin your shoes. Since Duke is an intelligent dog, who recalls that "come here" means you're in big trouble.
That night, try calling Duke in for dinner and say, "Duque, come here." Remember that "come here" means you are in trouble and running in the opposite direction. Do you think is not smart, but really are confused!
In this story, "" I'm sure you can understand why the Duke would not by the owner. This may be the cause of the disobedience of his dog ... or it could be another reason.
Whether or not this is the cause of the disobedience of your dog or not ... you has yet to find out what is happening. It could be a mixture of a lot of things, or even your dog may think he is the leader of the pack ... when It really is you!
