Is it okay to muzzle your dog?
I have a border collie, lab mix we got from the pound
turns out she would have alot of problems (food snatching, EXTREME barking, unfriendliness, garbage can eating)
Whenever I offer to take her for a walk along with my Other angel, Milo she goes crazy starts nipping, barking, jumping on me, clawing me, crying out LOUD You have no clue either to what extreme she does this, I wonder if it is okay to muzzle her while I put her pinch collar and leash on her, is it okay to put a stretched out pony tail holder around her mouth and nose
I know alot of you will hate me for asking haha....cant wait to see the answers
no one should hate on you for muzzling a dog that bites you. a muzzle is safe and humane for the short term. you cannot just leave it on though, only use if for the times you need it. consider consulting a professional trainer. that sounds like a problem that could get worse and even become a liability. they may have some great suggestions.
