My dog has red mange. Will getting her spaded help prevent future breakout after we treat what she already has
I am going to get her a special shampoo and vitamins that i have found on website instead of getting her dipped. the vet told me to get her spaded so that her hormone levels wont activate the mites. Before i do this i want to make sure this will cure her from getting red mange again.
No, spaying will not prevent the disease from coming back. But is will prevent her from having puppies who probably would have the disease. It is a genetic immune related issue.
Is she on ivermectin?
