What are some non-surgical treatments for disks Dachshund?
I'm doing a report on the discs Dachshund, especially treatments nonsurgical. I was thinking more of "doga (yoga for dogs) and massage, physical therapy. Does anyone know any ideas? Or some references? (Please include references if possible, thanks)

A note on massage therapy - although it may help relieve pain associated with muscle strain resulting from the injury, and probably would be beneficial to supplement care during treatment and recovery, should not really be considered a "treatment" or a "cure" per se. The underlying problem of the hernia disk would not be addressed by massage.
