How do I encourage golden retriever's hair growth?
We left my daughter's golden retriever at our vet/kennel office when we went on vacation, and they offered to do a light grooming. When we picked him up, his hair had been shaved! We were livid! Vet office said they do that to all their dogs--had I known, we wouldn't have agreed to a grooming. My daughter shows her dog in 4-H and match shows, but not this season! The dog is just a year old. It's been six weeks and there is no sign of regrowth. Is there any way to encourage his once beautiful, thick hair to regrow?
I have a golden retriever purebred and we never have his hair shaved especially that he is a show dog.. The best thing you can do is make sure hes getting a good Dog Food brand. He will grow his hair back,but it will take some time,just be patient.
