Is it okay to give a dog half a tablet of Advil?
My dog has a sore leg and take away the pain of my mother gave him half a pill of Advil. Now I'm worried because I have heard even a small dose can kill a dog. (My dog is a very small dog.) That is fine for a dog to have Advil. I'm very worried, I just finished my mother screaming about how human medicine can not and need prescription medication dog, but she said "noooooooo, is only half a tablet! "What now? If bad what should I do?
Do NOT give dogs Advil, Tylenol, Aleve or any other drugs of this type .. which can be very toxic to dogs, even in very small doses! NEVER give any kind of pain, including aspirin releiver without consulting your veterinarian first ... So many people have done serious damage, even killed their pets because of self-medication ... it see all the time in the veterinary hospital.
