new pet microchip registration how-to?
How can re-register a microchip implant? Also, if I do know how re-register the microchip, how I can verify the accuracy of the information entered into the database? I adopted a dog from an animal shelter and former owner did not leave a lot of information about the dog. Among other things, I do not know the manufacturer of microchips - just the number. Thank you. The shelter is very "technology" low. They could not offer much help with the microchip.
The shelter should be able to provide this information. They should be able to discern from the manufacturer number. Then you will probably need to mail the adoption process for the chip company to get to change the records.
