Dog Nail Trimming: An alternative to sedation?
My dog had an incident where someone perfect nails trimmed too short and now snarls and growls at anyone who tries to clip their nails. We even tried a muzzle and he just changes his head back and forth, pull back legs, and grunts a little more. Anyone who ever this problem? If so, please tell me what you have done to solve this problem. Incidentally, this is a 1 year old beagle. Huntindawg And I'm sorry, do not abuse my pets. I will not slap the hell out of him ...... It is a very good dog and knows all the commands: sit, lay, stay, heel, etc. and all are tame. The only problem is the cutting of nails. Is terrified of him.
Your dog is being a brat. My dogs get their nails too short time to time, none of them would think of me growling for nails. Take it to an abuser and go. The dog will perform better if you're not there. If the abuser can not, try another one. If the abuser can not, then you will have to do the sedation.
