How I can control my dog when it comes to animal aggression?
My dog knows obedience training, but it seems that when the opportunity to meet other dogs or animals that can not trust him to keep calm. How do I ignore the distractions. Do some tricks or exercise can share in order to make it behave? He is only 9 months, he does not bite them, play with the dogs and chases cats. It's really a good dog.
Hone, your dog may have been through an obedience class or something but it is not obedience trained and you will not since they do not realize this ... A dog that is obedience trained not respond to distractions - be obedient, regardless of what is around and listen to your commands and follow them. Please, just because he can sit or handshaking and establish in the country or in the yard, or if it carried through one or two classes, does not mean he "knows" nothing - It is necessary to return to obedience classes and must learn to better interact and train with him not to misbehave like this. He is only 9 months, so there is absolutely no way he is obedience trained ... I'm sure he's a good dog, but probably will become intolerable if one is not aware that you do not know and neither does obedience. He is a puppy and the only way to "stay calm" about others should be trained to do. Find a good obedience class in your area (or not Petco PetSmart or any of those, but a REAL obedience class) and start training him and yourself for making it a good adult dog:) Good luck ...
