How do I prevent my dog to drink from the pool ??!!?
I have a 4 year old golden retriever that tracks drinking from the pool. As the dog is the most time outdoors in the garden and instant messaging within the home do not see that he is doing, but I caught drink twice. I keep large bowls of fresh water everywhere, but still sometimes drinks by the pool. Im scared chlorine in the pool ruin kidney dog .. How I can do to stop drinking? plz help!
LOL sorry to laugh, but I had a lot of my Golden drinking out of my pool that I can not even say. An occasional drink out of the pool will not hurt your dog in any way. My Golden now swim and take a drink from the pool all the time. If your maintenance and chemical levels are correct that an occasional drink of your pool will not affect your Golden a little. I do not know where you got the idea that the pool water damage the kidneys of your dog but never had any problem here with any of my gold for over almost 30 years.
