Why does my dog do this?
I have a 2 year old Australian Shepherd B. TCH * Last Saturday had a litter of 9 pups (her first litter). We realized that the week was through that every time we threw out the bathroom, she would then do with this piece of land and start digging. We assumed I was a nesting behavior because of the new puppies and I had mentioned to my mentor thisd reproductive told to keep an eye on it absolutely. But we finsiehd looking and she is digging it seems, but she goes and sits in the hole. There is snow on the ground outside and so I assume the hole ground freezes. She enters and sits in it and that's all it does. What the hell are you doing? We thought perhaps to cool off, but we're not sure O_o If you call HME name will come within the right without doubt, but does anyone know why he is doing this? For your information, she was at the vet Monday with all the puppies and had a clean bill of OGF health after calving, so it is not a medical thing.
All I can think of is that she may be hot for some reason and is cool. It's times like this you want a dog could talk so you can ask why they are acting so strangely! AD: Is your genital area, including pain? Perhaps the cold is making you feel less uncomfortable!
