How to train my dog in a course.?
How I can train my Westie in a course. I would like to train him to go on the track as toter Teter, pass through the poles and tunnels and other things. Some indicators could help or if you train your dog. Thanks a ton!
There are some ways you can start your dog agility. You can train the dog yourself using research, books and advice or you can find an agility trainer / facility in your area. Info: http://www.usdaa.com/ The book 101 dog tricks by Kyra Sundance shows you step by step instructions for the basics (along with tons of other tricks), bar hopping, jump rings, plain weave polls, teetor-wobble, tunnel etc. I used this book to teach my Australian shepherd mix jumping hoop and jump bar - it was very easy and she learned quickly. (Just to throw out there).
