Dog Training Help, please?
well, I have a 2 year old Weimaraner. I show in AKC and 4H, and demonstrations of dogs and other classes, hes a perfect little angel. since hes just turned two, has been acting a little weird. The other day we were sitting outside a hair salon, waiting for my grandmother to do. a few people to pass, and he will bark. is a large dog and has a fear bark. I know for a fact anyone he wouldnt bite, but I just know if I was walking and a dog of that size started barking at me, I'd be scared .. if there is anything I can do to make chill out? None of my other dogs do, and again he is an angel in the show ring and classes, etc. Also, it is fixed, which is supposed to smooth out. That was not and never alone outside. I was with him. Weimaraners are masters of escape:) I told him no, but next time I was given to establish, and perhaps distract with food, or a ball?
Solicizing Try the 101 with more dogs do not know. When he barks, immediately cut him off with a sound that does not like and turn away the other dog. If another dog owner permits, were present to each other. Hope this helps =)
