How to remove tartar or plague dogs teeth?
Pest or Tartars are deposits that form and stick to the teeth of dogs. As general, it is clearer noticed in their molars or teeth at the back of the mouth. However, it also can be found in front canine teeth too. If the pest or Tartars are not removed for a long time, gum disease may occur and affect the dogs to chew your food.
There are some ways to keep your dog's dental health. You can buy toothpaste and toothbrush for this purpose special. You should not use human toothpaste as dogs definitely lick and swallow the toothpaste, and I do not know how to gargle and spit. Dog toothpaste is specially formulated for that will not damage to your body's system when they swallow the toothpaste. It is necessary to brush their teeth regularly but to be effective and you should start brushing early before that the tartar or plague start to form on their teeth. This method is more of a precautionary approach and not to remove the tartar or plague that is already present in the teeth.
The toothbrush is like a glove finger can slip on your index finger and then insert your finger into the mouth to brush their teeth. Alternatively, you can buy a brush small teeth, like those used for children in place.
There are also specially made biscuits that are supposed to prevent accumulation of tartar or fever. These treats are best given to them after the main meal, the contents are supposedly to scrub or remove the deposits in-between teeth. Again, think this is more of a preventive and maintenance of dental health in their dogs.
There are also strong gels are specially formulated to remove the tartar or plague, but is likely to take some time. These gels actually work on softening the hardened deposits on teeth. Most of them are too taste in order to clean the teeth more palatable to dogs. In fact, I use my index finger without the glove brush to rub the gel around the teeth so I can spread the gel properly, to be effective. This approach may take a longer time but supposedly to be very effective to smooth shells and then could be removed easily when you brush against it.
A combination of the specially made biscuits and brushing Dogs with canine toothpaste is another possible approach. You may want to give the cookies a day and only brush their teeth every day, for example.
I have used all the above methods and I'm still giving my dogs these specially formulated biscuits at night after dinner. Still I have some of the gel I've been using, but I found that brushing your teeth a chore if dogs enjoy licking the toothpaste. We need to give time to get used to the teeth and, finally, being brushed, which cooperate and look forward to it as they enjoy licking the toothpaste or gel and may see it as a gift for them.
A method that is more effective and to feed the dogs fresh bones once a month. Importantly, regardless of the method or methods to be to be treated, dental care should begin early and not wait until you find the tartar or plague on their teeth. If the methods do not work for your dogs, please consult your veterinarian for advice or if your dog already has severe tartar or plague on their teeth.
