Great Choice Assorted Dog Biscuit Recall....?
I just seen on the news that Great Choice Assorted Dog Biscuits have just been recalled because of salmonella from that peanut plant. I have been giving those treats to my dog for awhile a medium size bag is almost gone. I am soooo worried now. What symptoms should I look for and how long does it take for signs to show up? Right now my dog is eating very good, pooping regularly and is active! Is salmonella treatable just in case my dog has been effected? I am so worried I am sick to my stomach some info would be nice thanks.
Just to be safe, I would throw away or return what you have left... I don't know if it is possible to have biscuits from different batches in one bag, or if it is possible to have a couple of bad biscuits in a bag that's mostly all good biscuits... so, stop feeding them, just in case. If your dog is fine right now, you have nothing to worry about.
