I came home from work, and my dog vomited everywhere, multiple piles, some of food, some of foam, others bile.?
Now he's lethargic and lying under the bed looking at me.
What's the foam? Is it food poisoning or something serious?
We have a one vomit rule at my clinic, which basically means if the dog vomits up food once, it's ok...once your dog starts throwing up bile, it's no good. It means that something other than food upset his tummy. For now, don't offer him any food, only water, until he gets to the veterinarian, which needs to be soon.
