Secrets to Dog Training - Stop your dog behavior problems!

What is it?

Dog Training Secrets presents an unusually detailed and detailed look at how to prevent and deal with common behavior problems displayed by dogs. As the owner of a stray dog upsets me moderately I have also spent a good amount of time searching the Net for reliable resources about this subject, and I have to say that the level of knowledge and detail contained in the pages of this compendium is unusually severe for a book online.

Not only that, but - again, unusually for this medium - the information at hand is actually (gasp!) Reliable. Yes, indeed - this is a whole new kettle of fish. Written by an experienced dog trainer, you can relax in the knowledge that all the tips and advice included are tried and true, and come from Stevens' experience in real life as a professional dog trainer. There is also an outspoken, easy to follow video downloadable 30-minute offers real examples of bad dog behavior along with the solutions and remedies to change them.

What is covered?

There is an impressive range of information included in this manual. It's not just the problem behaviors that are covered: the book starts with a new-owner advice (how choosing a puppy or dog, the best places to get one from, breed information, puppy or dog protect your home from the first visit to the vet, training domestic, etc) and then moves to more advanced stuff: behavioral problems (such as aggression, dominance, chewing, digging, excessive barking, separation anxiety, to name a few), the intermediate-level obedience commands, health-related problems in dogs (allergies, cat / dog coexistence, fleas, heatstroke, and so on), and advanced commands and tricks.

The 30-minute downloadable video gives a great insight into the search for a dog to be the alpha dog and how you can prevent this. His quick steps to stop the bad behaviors, such as burglary right through the belt pulling are so simple that you can start implementing them in your dog immediately.
Parts especially good

In addition to the contents mentioned above, there also a pretty impressive section on dog whispering, which - in case you have not heard of it already - is a dog training method based on a philosophy of clear communication and mutual respect. It has been popularized in recent years by Cesar Millan ("The Dog Whisperer man"), and is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative and humane method of discipline and training of your dog. Dog Training Secrets has devoted an entire section to dog whispering: Daniel Stevens explains the background of the technique, how to use your voice and body language to your best advantage, and how to use the technique to calmly, firmly, and effectively correct and train your dog. Step-by-set includes the common commands (sit, down, come, stay, quiet, etc).

Got something pretty interesting reading - and, after testing the foundations of my own dog recalcitrant, he was surprised by the effectiveness of the techniques suggested are. Highly recommended!

I Love Freebies (Who does not?)

There is something about getting something for nothing. And, although my magpie-like greed may have led me to buy less-than-productive in the past, in this particular case, I am happy to report that Dog Training Secrets not let me down: the freebies included in this book are not only numerous, are actually useful (wow!)

The book itself costs $ 39.95. For this price, you get a complete and detailed manual on training your dog prevention and management of behavioral problems and a lot of general advice, knowledge and advice.

You also get a handful of practical gifts: four bonus books, dealing respectively with advanced housetraining how-to's and troubleshooting (including both cash and paper-training methods), a detailed study on resolving canine aggression, how to groom your dog effectively (including information on coat care for breeds specific dental care, and nail cutting-how-to) and, finally, how to begin to train your dog for security work.

As mentioned above, there is a bonus 30-minute downloadable video that takes a simple approach to practical solutions to Dog Obedience issues.

Another useful freebie: a personalized consultation with a member of the Kingdom of Pets team. If you have a problem with your dog that you would like a little attention individual, you can press a quick email and receive a personalized, completely full of expert tips and practical advice.

Secrets Dog training: a thumbnail sketch

Overall I'm quite impressed with this package. I had dogs and out of my life, from when I was ten years - I would have thought he was better prepared than most to handle the whims and caprices of my canine friends.

But since reading this book, I think my pre-Secrets to dog training was free (embarrassingly) perhaps a bit more complacent than knowledgeable - I have learned more from reading this manual I picked up in a short lifetime value contact with dogs (do you know how to stop your dog pulling the leash, without using a chain control? Well, I yes - but until I got my hands on a copy of this book, certainly not!)

Several of the training techniques present a refreshingly common sense the approach of down-to-land for dog training, while others require a little more effort (take dog whispering as an example) but yield some results quite dramatic. I liked the way that more than one training technique is detailed, so that the reader can pick and choose the techniques that best suits them and their individual dogs.

I have no hesitation in recommending this package to any person owning, or thinking about owning a dog. You do not need a pet "Problem" for the manual to be helpful: there is no information included that will be useful for all and all dog owners.

In summary: highly recommended.
