I can hear dog whistles is that weird?
I've been hearing a lot of heavy metal music and I know that hearing damage, but I still hear pitches.When high blowing a dog whistle in the cinema I always heard. I recently did a test of how sharp you can hear and I could hear 22khz (not very clearly, but I that was a different sound) and I can hear 21kHz crystal clear. I was wondering is this normal? Yes I am a 15
Humans can hear up to 23 kHz. It will vary from person to person, but that is the highest a person can hear. Most will be lower than that, about 20 kHz. Depend how to produce their ears are and how your inner ear. Most dog whistles have frequencies between 16 and 22 kHz. So a low-frequency whistle will heard by more people than a higher frequency.
