Is Linoleum safe for a puppy? (pomeranian)?
Linoleum is a wooden laminated flooring , right?
I was reading my Pom for Dummies book. It said that i should have my puppys (coming soon
) sleeping area/Xpen on this floor.
Is it safe?for her??. I do have a room that has this flooring but my current dog (cavalier) has a hard time getting a grip on it.Im scared my pom will slip or fall and hurt herself on it ![]()
what are your suggestions.?
My parents wont let me keep her on carpet downstairs or in my room incase she wets the floor
What do u think??
Linoleum is the plastic square flooring. It's fine for your pup. If you are worried about her slipping, get some cheap bathroom mats. They will provide traction and can be washed as needed.
Our kitchen is linoleum and my yorkie slips on it if he runs on it too fast. But if he's just walking on it, there's not a problem. When my dog was a pup, he was kept in our master bathroom, with linoleum flooring, no carpet. And bathroom mats that he could stand on or lay on, just to have a softer floor for him that he could pee all over and no one would care about.
