What remedies do work for women vaginal yeast infection for yeast dog ear infection?
My dog, a Golden Retriever, has what appears to be a severe case of yeast infection in both ears, (not the first time). I read that you should change your food, etc., but first I have to clean your infection. I've been to the vet several times about this in the past and paid dearly for drugs that seems to work just for a short period of time. A coworker suggested using nonprescription medicines to treat vaginal yeast infection. Does anyone have any Experiense / comments / thought that?
My husky developed some type of eruption on the ears too. Spots seemed to become scaly and red and may bleed slightly if scratched. I imagine that it was some kind of fungus to eat the skin. sprayed Tinactin (for athlete's foot) in the ears (in the affected area, NOT inside the ear canal.) cured in a single application. Their ears are very healthy now. My dog's ears are a little hard on the inside and that helped keep the solution at points Tinactin. DaveSFV What does the previous answer makes sense if you give your dog some type of internal medication for humans, something the dog has to eat, but in this case is using a cream or liquid that has the same ingredients as the dog of many medications. You can go to the store and compare the ingredients in both drugs. It is the same fungus that they eat human and animal skin.
