What did you do to rid your dog of fleas that I have done?
Confortis this week have a new trail of veterinary medicine. Not yet. Get a flea bath on Saturday. I brush and spray them every day outside the area after I'm done. I have attached softener sheets in their harness (Assumed to be rid of mosquitoes) so I calculated it would not hurt to try. They get bathed midweek and (brushing daily) with a remedy shampoo fleas home. I have tried spraying them (baby powder) trying to turn off the fleas. I wash her bedding every day. I give them brewer's yeast (which had no fleas for 15 months) HELP HELP HELP? I do not want to kill my dogs with poison, but I have to solve this problem.
I use diatomaceous earth, ... You rub it in dogs coat and sprinkle a little on your carpet. White powder from crushed fossils. If you look under a microscope looks like tiny fragments of glass, these fragments into the joints of the fleas and seize them, killing them. Also scrape the waxy coating caosing fleas to dry and die ... It is safe for dogs and people (you could even eat if you wish) should only prevent inhalation of a large cloud of it. here is a link for more information. http://www.petacular.com/products/Diatomaceous-Earth-C . html
