N-bark collars ?!!!! Please help me keep my dog!?
I have a wonderful dog, which I love and I can not imagine living without it. The problem is ... when I go to work, that will not stop barking. He sometimes bark for hours and hours ... and while I have a dog walker to walk him in middle of the day, you can not afford to put in the dog day care every day. My neighbors have gone mad and I was told by the owner that if I can not my dog to stop barking, I'll have to get rid of it (has anyone used a no bark collar their dogs and if so, what are good and effective and what are not? I used a Innotek and found a completely ineffective. I am willing to spend money to buy a product that works! It is better to get rid of my puppy! Please help me keep my dog ... I can not imagine living in this apt without him. : (
I can not remember the brand of the necklace I used, but I bought it in Petco and it worked great. He stopped barking and that made a world of difference. The kind used gave me a slight shock when the sound is activated. I checked myself first, and found that the shock was delivered surprising, but not dying. I also checked with a friend who used the collar on your dog. I noticed that your dog's collar was not afraid, did not seem sorry for her, and shows no sign of being stressed, upset or hurt by it. The model should Innotek have worked. This is similar to the model I used. Are you sure that the neck was in good condition? Have you checked it yourself first? FWIW, desperate last resort before giving your dog, talk to your veterinarian about "debarking" surgery. I know many people the rights of animals are fully against this, but if the alternative is to give your dog and possibly having sacrificed if nobody else is going to take I think it is a viable option. I met a couple of Dogs that have had this done and I could see that they did no harm and do not seem to trouble.
