Bathtime for Bonzo: Pet Bathing Tips
Some our four-legged friends seem to hate baths. Dogs either love or hate water. If your four-legged friend falls into the last swim then you can get to be a dreaded task. Some dogs usually just hate water and some dogs that are about to drown, but most dogs hate the bathing process by water in the ears and most shampoos or soaps burn their eyes. Place some type of waterproof material or absorbent in the ears can relieve the problem ear. Try using cotton balls in ears to keep water out. The burning sensation in the eyes can be caused by several factors, but is the most likely that most shampoos and soaps are strong alkaline. Without going into a full blown chemistry class, the alkalinity is something that has a pH above 7. The Most people understand that acids burn, but alkaline burns occur more frequently and are generally more severe than acid burns. These eye burns destroy the cellular structure, not only epithelium but also stroma and endothelium. Although acids and produce a first stop burning quickly, alkaline may continue buttocks of the cornea long after the initial burn. At this point, an acid can be used to neutralize the burn and balance pH. Try using a little vinegar, which is a very soft acid, and water in a cotton ball. Then use the cotton ball to dry eyes, "neutralizing" the effect of bite. The dog does not like, but should recover regardless. The best solution to this problem is to use a good animal shampoo. From personal experience, a shampoo with a natural soap that work is the cassava root based pet shampoo and shampoo International Biolux cassava. Now, here are some tips to make bathe your pet more enjoyable. Start a routine and keep the routine the first bath If the animal knows what to expect, they will be less resistant. If you have room or access, use a fixed bath. Have a line in the bottom of the tub, as Biolux kennel has a dog story, so your pet does not move and be more stable. Organize supplies that have everything you need at your fingertips. This will prevent the dog jumping out of the tub. Place the pet in the bathroom area, with a strap, before bathing and reward him / her with a treat. WC associated with good weather, which will help persuade a reluctant pet water. Talk to your pet during bathing. This will allow the company to focus on you and not the bathing process. Rinse with warm water. Dry them, but be prepared to shower yourself!
