Has my dog been bit by a spider?
On his head he seems to have very small patches of loss of hair and I can tell they itch cus he always rubs his head. He is starting to scratch his head till it bleeds so if I catch him dong it I make him stop and rub his head to ease the pain. He recently lived in A large runner we bult for him but I found many spiders so I moved him to the grass and scrubbed is igloo and gave him a bath but I am still worried about the patches on his head does anyone know what they Are and should I be worried? Should I buy something to rub on his head to stop the itch?
This is not likely a spider bite.
most dogs will eat spiders, and on very rare occasion
may get a bite on the snout.
Ticks would be a bigger worry.
A vet would be able to tell what these symptoms are.
