How long until my cocker's hair grows back fully?

My wife and I have a 4 month old chocolate cocker spaniel. His hair was very long, and prefer a shorter cut, not miserable, just curly and wavy appearance. So I called a phone abuser (Aussie Pet barber) to enter an adjustment to our puppies, also known as a "puppy cut." Cut to be the keyword. Well, our little man shaving quite low ... and now our cocker looks like a toy poodle ... big ears and all. Now we know that will never do it again with him. However, not having owned a cocker before spaniel, we wonder how long, usually until the hair grows back at least to a level where it does not look like a poodle and cocker looks like we buy again? Thanks for your help! We clean the ears and eyes at least every two days ... we are just upset that requested a seat and the man cut to almost nothing .... which is about 1 inch of hair on it all now ....

You should only take a couple of months for your puppy cocker to start looking a little closer to your self again. That said, it appears that you have an experience hairstylist! His cocker puppy needs his ears cleaned every month or two, along with his anal glands and feet and nails trimmed. You really can not let these things go as they can cause major health problems. When you're out and about, when you see someone with a very cocker groomed, ask them to do your homework. If you talk to three or four different people, usually one or two names appear very good hairdresser. Note, if you leave your puppy will grow out of two long that will mate, and the abuser has no choice but to shave your back! It's the kindest thing you can do with a dog mate. Can be torture, especially in a Cocker, to brush an entire layer, entanglement or not! If you choose not to have her cocker trained professional will have to keep up with ears, anal, feet and brushing them.
