why and how humans began keeping a pet dog? is well known dog was originally wild animal?
the former were the wild dogs and lived in the jungle. were vicious and dangerous. so, how were transformed into house pets?

Grazing, hunting, surveillance, etc. It's only been in the last 50-75 years we've had real "pet" dogs. Dogs are expected to do more than entertain and comfort. Before that, dogs are expected to earn their livelihood. Had either hunting dinner, or put in a hard day's work for kitchen scraps.
