Free ways to drive traffic to a new website
Once you create a website, the next step is to get traffic! But how? You do not have a mailing list, however, so I can not use that method. And you do not have bottomless pockets for paid advertising. If you just sit there and wait for people to find your new site? Of course not! Here are 10 ways you can drive free targeted traffic to your new website ...
* Article Marketing
List three items that are related to the theme of your website. Include a brief biography and links to your website at the end of the article. Present each of these articles to article directories, and also to webmasters and ezine owners who rank well for your keywords key.
* Marketing Forum
Do a search on Google for your keyword + forum. If you have a pet related site, for example, search for "forum Pet "(without the quotes). Find the top 3 forums in place and join each of them. NO SPAM, but it created a profile (and signature, if permitted) and then an introduction. Get involved in each of these three forums by posting at least one thread or the response of each day. This will help you gain exposure in your target market, and people, of course, be interested in your Web sites.
* Yahoo! Answers
Go to http://answers.yahoo.com and finding questions related to your niche or website. If you can give a legitimate answer to your question, you can include your link as the resource or URL. Again, no spam, if you can contribute to their community of interest in their Web sites.
* Viral Marketing
Write a report that would be of great interest to your market objective, and sell it cheap. * Social Networking
