Pet store rats?
Ok, so I'm getting a pair of rats. Originally there was a breeder in a row, but I just found out that I have to go six hours away. I could still buy my breeder rats when I go on holidays, but it will be a lot of trouble and I will not have a choice because I'll be there about April 11 and children 6 weeks of age at the first of April, which means it is likely that all sold by then. I want I can reserve from images provided by the breeder, but is it worth? Will have to endure a 6 hour drive on the way home, it would be cool if I brought the cage, I guess ... But it would be better to buy from a pet store? The place where I'm moving to a family-run operation and breed their own rats. I do not think that tame.
I received pet store rats, rats feed bin, abuse, and my 'breeder' oh-so adorable dumbo. The breeder Dumbo came from a pet store, but it is a small family owned pet store that has a great policy in the purchase with a rodent. I've managed to socialize All my rats, even my most overlooked adopted rat Petco adoption center. She was vicious, the cage was too small and remained on their own throughout their lives and obviously ignored. It was again a very fresh rat once learned that people are good. Not be set aside from photos. Rats have very different personalities, you want the experience of looking over and picking up babies who excel in their case. Clearly'll pick up once you see them. I would ask local questions pet store about your health, breeding policies, all you ask when buying a puppy. Ask to see Mom, Dad, none of that. Do health checks (Eyes, wheezing, nose). Ask when you separate the males and females. If you get a baby at 5 or 6 weeks of age, you are not really so far in their socialization. Theres still the option of finding another breeder in your new area, or as someone said, take them out of paper. I further breeding research in your new area. Good luck, I know you've had your heart set on getting these babies for a while.
