Where can we get a service dog near Alaska for each disabled child with a prescription?
I have a child with special needs with a prescription for a service dog .... does any one out there knows where the best place to go to receive training with one, so it can buy? preferably close to Alaska.
How old is your son? Many programs have a minimum age requirement - the child needs to be old enough to manage the dog safely - as if the child is very young, this would limit the choice of programs. What tasks does your child need for the dog to do? Some programs only train hearing dogs or guide dogs or dogs for mobility, so without knowing what training is needed task would be difficult recommend a program.
