What is the best way to deal with separation anxiety dog?
It used to be my dog occasionally would eat a box of cereal or two, but I deleted the kitchen last night and ate a hole in our $ 2,000 mattress tempurpedic. We have a box to keep it going today when we go out, but do not want to do that forever. We are also preventing him from sleeping alone that ate the mattress that is a big change for him. What I do?
The box is a good idea. Many dogs like to be packed because you feel secure and protected. Helps soothe anxiety. Some people have the impression that crate training is somewhat cruel, but it is not. Any dog training book but should be able to give you some tips on how to cope with anxiety apart. It is a very common problem. Like people, all dogs are different and you may need to try different approaches to find what works for you.
